About Me

Roli Srivastava is a Mumbai-based journalist and reports on climate change, just transition, gender and migration, focusing mainly on India’s marginalized communities. She has worked with the Thomson Reuters Foundation as Climate and Just Transition Correspondent, and Indian newspapers including The Hindu where she was Deputy Editor and The Times of India where she was Editor, Special Projects. Her investigations have won her the Fetisov Journalism Award (2020), Laadli Media and Advertising Awards for Gender Sensitivity (2020) and a nomination for journalist of the year in the Drum Online Media Awards (2020). She won the Robert Bosch Stiftung Media Ambassadors Fellowship (2015) and has presented her stories at the Global Investigative Journalism Conference (2019, 2021). She is also a trainer at journalist training workshops conducted by the Thomson Reuters Foundation.
